Shawna LynneShawna Lynne was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and was singing since she could talk, energized and always willing to put on a show for anyone who would watch.

Her musical background starts from birth, her father and her aunt were both active in the music business. Classic country has always been her love. There is nothing better than the great sound of a fiddle or steel guitar to make you want to get up and dance!

Shawna Lynne has been performing professionally since 2001, and has had the opportunity to perform at many excellent venues with some very talented people. She is a never ending high energy act that leaves you wanting more with her mix of classic country, top forty and her own originals.

She appeared during the 2005 Tim Horton’s Brier as an Anthem Singer, and has competed in many local competitions placing as a finalist at many of them.

Shawna Lynne has had the opportunity to play a few of Canada’s summer music festivals, opening for Australia’s Adam Harvey and Sugarland at Merritt Mountain in 2005, being a main stage act for Telus Country Fever in 2006 sharing the stage with great acts such as Brad Johner, The Road Hammers, Danny Hooper, The Oak Ridge Boys and more, Rain Maker Rodeo, Alzheimer’s Dinner of Nations Gala, opening the Women’s World Baseball Championships, many Stollery Children’s Hospital events and numerous rodeos, casinos and private functions.

Shawna Lynne had the chance to showcase her talents at Canada's top country music week, the Canadian Country Music Association in September 2008 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she had the people on their feet and the room alive and wanting more.

You can always find Shawna Lynne donating time to great causes such as the Stollery Children’s Foundation, World Vision, the Alzheimer’s Society and many more. She is a girl with a big voice and an even bigger heart.

Now out on the road creating a buzz she can be found in many shows she is part of. Watch for her in a town near you as she tours Alberta, NWT, Saskatchewan and British Columbia in 2010. She is part of a 3 song compilation CD with her new single “The Dancing Queen” spreading the sad reality about Alzheimer’s.

Shawna Lynne had a great run with her first single "It’s Just A Cup Of Coffee" getting air play across Canada, USA and Australia charting in the top weekly. She is now working on finishing her album and looking forward to releasing it in 2011.

 Along with building a website and selling Shawna Lynne merchandise, she has shown her professional attempt at wanting to be noticed and continues to work hard and dedicate herself to her music and the industry.

When asked what Shawna Lynne's goal is she replies with "My goal is to become a country recording artist, my dream is to open for one of Canada's top country artists, my success will be that I never gave up and I always gave 110% to all I put into my music no matter how far I go."
