Magnificent River Rats Festival Youth Area
Welcome to the 12th Annual River Rats Festival. This year, along with the help of the Athabasca Regional Multiplex Summer Staff, we have created a bigger and better youth area this year. There will be seven inflatable toys ranging from a bouncer for the younger youth to a Laser Tag for the older youth. This year’s youth area is sure to have something for all ages.
One of our new games this year that is sure to be a hit is the virtual gaming tent. DDR Gaming Tent Houses a HD projector, Nintendo Wii system, big screen and games that include Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, Virtual Tennis, and Golf, Boxing, Bowling and many more interactive games. The DDR Gaming Tent is an interactive experience for gaming enthusiasts of all ages.
Back this year is the penny carnival with ten different booths. This is a great chance to show off your skills at things like darts, fishing, and football. One of the main attractions of the penny carnival will be the dunk tank. Once again we have enlisted a few worthy volunteers to sit in the dunk tank for all you youth to dunk in water.
Also back this year, by popular demand, is the Caricature Artist. This year we have a new artist that comes highly recommended by his fellow peers and is sure to provide us with quality work.
Jacquie Paul is back for another year for anyone who feels like showing there Canadian pride or just wants to have their face look different for a day with her very talented, face painting abilities. Jacquie will also have some crafts for the younger youth to create and show off for the rest of the day.
